The Bunker

2007 June

– identity, print, art direction, photography, programme, graphic design, gallery, art

The Bunker Gallery, an independent artist led space, organised and funded by artists and volunteers, posed several unique challenges as it required an identity that was both visually strong and flexible enough to be applied to a range of promotional materials and reproduced inexpensively. In keeping with the gallery's name and limited funding we proposed and developed a thematic solution based around the notion of rations.

In conjunction with the gallery we created a series of faux rations that could be applied to the promotional material such as 'illustration', architecture' and 'installation'. These faux rations, based on the potential artistic mediums which were to be exhibited, could then be circled or highlighted to indicate the content of the forthcoming exhibition thus allowing a single template to be used multiple times.
